Early Life
I’m a film and creative nerd who was always encouraged as a young child to do my best in the things I feel most passionate about. I started editing videos when I was 13 years old. I found a lot of inspiration from music videos, but being a kid with no camera and/or actors. I decided to take clips from different cartoons and make my own stories and music videos with them. Of course, after a while the family got a camcorder and that helped push my creativity with film.
I struggled in School not knowing why or how other students could do as well as they did. Until I found out that every person is different with different skill sets. I may not be good at math, but I had an imagination that knows no limit. Thanks to my very active imagination, I’m able to make films like weddings on the fly and still capture the story and love that people bring.
Weddings
Taking a passion in film, I went from short films to commercials not making a career out of it but just as a side gig. A friend came to me knowing I can work a camera and asked if I could film his wedding. Of course, I said yes, how much different can it be from a short film or a commercial? Well, It’s a completely different take on filming! You’re constantly on the go and plans will change on the fly. I enjoyed the rush of it and also having the challenge to capture something magical that you can only do at a wedding. Genuine love and laughter; it’s a beautiful thing that can be very addicting. Since that first wedding, I fell in love with the stories different people bring and the creative freedom you get when it comes to immortalizing these special couples day.
